"My service advisor is a great guy, very personable, very helpful, but the technical problem is not getting solved. No one seems to have seen this problem before. The car sits for 4 or more days then is started, immediately put in reverse - there is 5-10 second delay before the car will move. There is clearly a transmission problem with a reservoir or pump that must be pressurized or filled that drained down or a sticky servo or something that does not immediately engage as it should. This is the second time we have left the car for 4-7 days and dealer cannot duplicate. Problem again a week later after a trip away." - Robert M., September 24, 2014

I brought the loaner in and parked in the Service area. I was immediately approached by a gentleman that asked which was my car. While talking to the service tech he brought my car to the front. My Service Consultant advised me of what the problem was with the car and then went on to recommend additional work which was advised and with which I agreed would be good to do. In the process of having the work done my Service Consultant also recommend replacing an additional part which was not currently failing but which was relatively inexpensive and would preclude having to repeat rather expensive labor cost if was to fail in the future which I really appreciated. The dealership service facility was fine and I have no recommendation on how to make it better. My Service Consultant went out of his way to make suggestions for other repair work which should be done and which I agreed with.      *When I picked up my vehicle, I expect to have a summary of the service performed explained to me (again, based on all other dealerships I have dealth with). I was simply asked for 2 signatures. Once he got involved the problem was taken care of. As I understood it, my car's problem was unique and not something easily diagnosed or identified so I do not entirely begrudge the service department. That said, it was twice returned to me as "fixed" and was tracking no different from when I dropped it off. You can only handle so many 80 mile round trip drives before you get frustrated that the car is no better than when you dropped it off. Again, all that said, Mark was willing and happy to help me be happy once I circled him in.
