The current 2013 Audi TT is powerful, fast, comfortable, and performs like a dream. So when new information about the next-gen version leaks out, you know for sure that all of us at Audi North Scottsdale are bouncing in our seats. The long-awaited third-generation TT is shaping up to be something truly incredible.
While most everything we know is rumor and hear-say, the fine folks over at Car and Driver have dug up a bit more details that are sure to whet your appetite. Under the hood, it sounds like we're going to get a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder with direct injection. A nine-horsepower jump over the current output makes for 220 to look forward to. The TTS will get an even bigger increase - up to a total of 300 ponies - and the TT RS will get a 20hp jump to 380. Definitely sounds like an improvement for those looking to improve their 0-60 mph times.
Unfortunately, that's all we've got when it comes to the tech specs. We have heard tell that the styling will get an overhaul, looking to recapture some of the charm the original TT brought with it. What that means, however, it yet to be known. The interior will also be changed around, simplifying for the better with all instrumentation displayed on a TFT screen.
That's all for now, but stay tuned to our blog for more information as it comes. For all other questions, come on down to our dealership in Phoenix, AZ. Check out our new Audi lineup and we'll help you make the best decision for you. A test drive in our A4 and A6 models will be sure to put a smile on your face.
