Did you buy a new Audi model from Audi North Scottsdale in Phoenix, AZ last month? If you did, then congratulations! You're part of the continuingly rising Audi sales history. Once again, the automaker has increased the sales of their vehicles from over the same month of the previous year and last month's was nothing to turn your nose up at.
With sales performance rising to double-digit rates of growth over in Asia and here in the Americas, it seems as though the increases will never end! So far this year, from January to May, the sales have totaled out around 640,200. That's a year-over-year increase of 6.7 percent! In just last month, 137,200 were sold worldwide: a distinct 6.4 percent over the same month in the previous year. If we dive in deeper and look at individual country sales, these numbers increase even further.
With the United States, Canada, South America, and Mexico seeing sales increases of 16.7, 17.6, 29.9, and a massive 39.8 percent relatively, the Americas are really doing their part. Luca de Meo, Member of the Board of Management for Sales at AUDI AG, has stated how impressed he's been with this, acknowledging the incredible rise here in the west. "Business for Audi is especially dynamic in the United States, where we are clearly on course to achieve our sales target of 150,000 units in 2013."1 That seems to be nearly without a doubt, Mr. de Meo. We can't wait to see just how high the sales can really go.
