Routine Servicing*
Why is servicing important?
Regular servicing is the way to ensure that your Audi maintains an optimum level of performance during its ownership cycle. A full service history can also enhance the potential resale value of a car.
How often should an Audi be serviced?
The Audi service schedule is set at intervals of 10,000 m or 12 months, whichever comes first. The service interval is also displayed in the instrument cluster (driver information system) well in advance of the next service (up to 1,000 m before the service is due). You can also check the service indicator at any time to see how far the vehicle can be driven before the next service is required. This can be useful, for instance, if you are planning a long journey. If the vehicle is driven in severe operating conditions it is necessary to carry out some work at shorter intervals. This applies in particular to the replacement of the air filter element in dusty conditions and the replacement of the pollen filter element (cabin filter):
When there is a high concentration of fumes in the air, in very dusty conditions, when the vehicle is driven in regions with high particulate emissions, when the air recirculation mode is subject to abnormally unclean air in the interior of the vehicle (e.g. tobacco smoke, dust, etc.)
Factory recommends after the free 5K Service Intervals of 15K, 25K, 35K, 45K, etc.
